JM Coaching was founded on the humble belief that we are all capable of greatness. That greatness is only realized when, as individuals, we discover, analyze, and optimize each fundamental process in our lives.
The legacy goal is to create healthier lives, businesses, and communities.
I am incredibly honored that you have made the decision to take a moment of your time to learn a bit about me. Thank you; in a very deep and sincere way.
My personal philosophy drives every aspect of who I am and what I share with others. That philosophy was born out of complicated upbringing, teen parenthood, entrepreneurial failure, and getting fired from my favorite job. The experience I bring to the table is relate-able, well thought out, and researched heavily. I aim to utilize my own experience in conjunction with the experiences of so many others who have found success amidst the challenges we all face. There is infinite value in surrounding one's self with multiple mentors. We can't all "know it all" however, we can all work together and share information with the goal of helping others.
Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to work with small business owners and leaders just like you. I have worked with people all over the U.S. and Canada. Through these experiences I have discovered a burning passion accompanied by great fulfillment, in walking alongside people as we all grow together.
I am not particularly traditional in my approach.
George Santayana, a 20th century philosopher, said "The wisest mind has something yet to learn".
That is to say, we are not growing if we are not learning. I tend to take that a step further and suggest that we are not learning if we are not growing. When we stop learning we become complacent. Complacency is a symptom of thinking we have it all figured out when in actuality there is always something to learn. The risk with complacency is relinquishing our future success, to our competitor(s). The point at which we truly begin our path toward exponential growth is;
B) the point at which we realize the decisions we made to get here can't be identical to the decisions we make moving forward.
In order to get to the next level, then 10x that, we have to adjust our behavior. I am here to help that realization along and clarify how to navigate the change.
I'll tell you the secret to growth and success ... but not here. The secret is not about me. The secret is about you.
In the meantime, here are a few random and interesting facts about me:
I love reflecting while sitting near the ocean, on a cliff side. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks in addition the smell of the ocean air takes me to a very serene place in my mind. It's mesmerizing, almost hypnotic.
My favorite music is in the low-tempo electronica genre. At this moment in my life, two of my favorite tracks are Rooftop by Tabu and 100 Billion Stars by Lux. Music in this genre tends to calm my mind, which aids in my ability to focus on productivity.
A book I find myself recommending frequently is What Got You Here Won't Get You There: How Successful People Become Even More Successful by Marshall Goldsmith and Mark Reiter. This book forces us to analyze the decisions we've made and the decisions we are soon to make.
Again, thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Here is where you will find out what the big secret is. You will also get to see the value in consulting a business performance coach, such as myself.
Cheers to you, Friend!
